Imagine practicing yoga outdoors, in perfect connection with the nature, in one of the most famous Canyons of Europe, the Llech Canyon, in the Canigou Mountain, in the heart of the Oriental Pyrenees.
As far as yoga adventures go, this is a “must do” yoga retreat. Designed for all levels of yoga enthusiasts, we will integrate yoga practice seamlessly into one of the canyon river adventures.
The small group size will allow us to create a balanced trip itinerary to meet everyone’s skill level and desires. You will have the opportunity to enjoy mornings and evenings yoga sessions, and one day you will have the opportunity to explore and feel the adrenaline of going down into the
gorges of the Llech Canyon, discover along slides, jumps, rappelling, zip lines ending in water, play in the side streams…. and between the different elements: rocks, waterfalls and natural water slides!
Another day you may decide to spend more time hiking or mountain biking.
Apart the day in the Llech, the side activities are optional, if you prefer to practice yoga or meditate instead.
Sessions will be offered in places such as around the swimming pool or next to musical side streams.
In the gorges carved by water for centuries, you will be able to explore completely unique and magical places, which are still hidden to the public. Sensations, splendour and emotion will be waiting for you! This
famous mountain canyon is fun and technical, it has an ideal setting, it is a place where natural surroundings yet clear waters, trees and cliffs reign supreme.
The canyon background will give you a sense of serenity and will provide a unique flavour of yoga in nature! You will enjoy the many benefits of yoga, from increased flexibility to a clear, still mind, moving into
a state of relaxed joy.
Finally, you will spoil yourself with a full Ayurvedic massage, included in your yoga retreat. You're worth it!

Llech Canyon (Half Day)
Llech the famous Canyon is a canyon that is located around Prades. It is known throughout Europe for its features exeptionelles enough: it is a sequence of endless bowls (like large swimming pools) that must join with different events: either by dragging in long slides jumping from pool to pool, or by rappelling (with a rope and harness), or zipline.
• Equipment provided: helmet, wetsuit, harness equipped (bring a pair of sneakers and a bathing suit).
• Level: Sporty and very playful (adults).
• Reminders: Three minimum (4m to 14m.)
• Hops: Many jumps.
• Height jump up: 7/8 meters (no jump is required).
• Slides: The Canyon Llech offers many great natural slides.

While some people think of yoga simply as physical exercise, it is actually a complete system for overall health and well-being. It includes everything: from physical postures, personal hygiene, and a healthy diet to premeditation, breathing, and relaxation techniques. The most advanced forms of meditation and self-realisation are also a part of yoga.
During this week you will have the opportunity to practice over 28 hours of yoga, pranayama, meditation and relaxation Yoga Nidra - (guiding you into a state of conscious deep relaxation):
• breathing techniques to calm the mind,
• warming up the muscles,
• creating proper body alignment,
• building core strength,
• stretching techniques and increasing flexibility in the hips
• upper body strengthening to balance out the lover body intensity of canyoning, climbing, mountain biking, ...
There is no pressure if you wish to snooze in the morning or leave a few classes out. However the cost of the retreat remains the same.
Vinyasa - Flow yoga is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes.
The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an in-hale or an ex-hale. This technique is sometimes also called
Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.
This style allows for a lot of variety, but will almost certainly include Sun Salutations. Expect movement, not just stretching. Whether the class is fast or slow includes chanting. Some very popular yoga styles, such
as Ashtanga & Power Yoga, make use of the Vinyasa method.

You will stay in a tannery with its own museum which reveals the history of the tannery itself and the Prades Jadis farm. A small stream, ROUS, passes through edge of the site. This relaxing and refreshing edge will fill you with joy.
There are many activities and beautiful tourist locations that will take your breath away. The presence of Roman art reveals a wealth of monasteries, priories and abbeys. There are a number of villages in this region that are classified among “the most beautiful French villages”. There are several local restaurants in a walking distance area.

if you go from Belgium take Ryanair from Charleroi to Perpignan, leaving Saturday 31 August at 15:00 and back on Saturday 7 September at 17:10.
