About me

Yoga is my passion and a way of living: I eat, drink, breath and live yoga.
In my country everyone is doing some sports even if it's cold, rainy, windy and even if it's sunny - no excuses ;-)
Basketball is our religion and we are really good at it since our childhood. Before yoga I was in light athletics - running with maximum speed, pushing my limits, competing against older and stronger, explosive power, running like a horse (no surprise because I was born in the year of a horse).
My dream about becoming a professional athlete died when my heart went off the normal and started to play a drum and a bass rhythm - I started to have heart problems from thyroid gland (I was affected since April 26st 1986 by the impact of the nuclear explosion in Chernobyl). I was then 15 years old and I couldn't even run the distance of 20 meters (without my heart wanting to jump out of my chest).
Doctors and medicines didn't help me. It is only since I started to practice yoga at the age of 23, especially Sarvangasana and Matsyasana, I started feeling better and this is how my yoga journey began.
After a couple of years of yoga practice with K.S. Prabhu Bhakti I realized that all I wanted was to learn more and share the wisdom and knowledge of yoga with as many people as possible. So I decided to quit my management job in a luxury hotel for high-end clientele in Southern France and I moved to Thailand to undertake a yoga teacher training.
There I went through a 5 month long (260 hours) training in anatomy, ayurvedic medicine, yoga philosophy, asanas, pranayamas, meditation and yoga instruction with Adrian Cox and James Boag from Yoga Elements Studio in Bangkok, Thailand (voted 11th Best Yoga Studio in the World by Travel and Leisure, and described as "Bangkok's most inspiring place to study yoga" by Bangkok Post - The Magazine reader choice awards).
I had a chance and great pleasure to study with: K.S. Prabhu Bhakti, Danny Paradise, Paddy McGrath, Daniel Strausser, Cerissa Nyen, Dylan Bernstein, Tulay Konca, David Swenson, Dorinda Farver, Damien de Bastier, Rupert Spira, Lucy Scott Crawford, Sandra Howling, John Scott , Scott Johnson and dear Anurag Vassallo. These great souls have showed me the true path to yoga.
My yoga style is a blend of Ashtanga Vinyasa, Flow, Hatha, Satyananda, yin/restorative, pre/postnatale, core strength yoga, power Yoga, Yoga Nidra - guided conscious deep relaxation.
I believe that if all of us could do a bit of yoga, there would be more peace and happiness in this chaotic, busy world.
If yoga works for me - it can work for anyone.
