Yoga and Shiatsu Winter Detox workshop
with Darius and Ramona
13:00-16:00 on the 12th of January 2019
In the Detox Yoga workshop we focus on Physical Postures (Asanas, series of movements twists and forward bends) and Breathing Exercises (Pranayamas) which activate and purify the digestive body system. We cleanse the inner organs: the stomach, liver, intestines, spleen, and kidneys. These organs are vital in our digestive and immune system. Through Yoga twists metabolic fire get rise to cleansing and toxins get free.
Finishing with meditation through deep guided conscious relaxation - Yoga Nidra is added to purify the mind.
Improvement of the digestive system, a more regular bowel movement (less constipation), strength and stamina increase, energy level increases, weight normalizes and fat is reduced around the waist and belly, immunity and general health increase, skin improves, stress reduces, an overall feeling of well-being!
In the Detox Shiatsu Do-In workshop will be a combination of gentle Japanese stretching, breathing techniques, and self treatment using tapping, gentle massage and pressure point therapy. Practicing Do-In allows you to become aware of your own energy and enables you to treat yourself accordingly. It is a gentle and powerful way to keep energy flowing and bring health and vitality to your whole being. Do-In not only releases hardness and stagnation from the muscles, joints and tissues, it also reaches our inner organs, thoughts, emotions and spiritual nature.
To move with the least effort ...another way of charging our batteries!
to grease our joints, to smoothen our muscles, to enhance our vital energy, to collect our thoughts, to calm the tidings of our emotions, to open our mind towards life.
The workshops are for all levels yoga practitioners. Some prior knowledge of yoga is recommended.
For less advanced students we’ll demonstrate modified postures.

as in this workshop we will do a lot of twists and forward bends, we advise you to not attend this workshop when you are pregnant.

- Make sure you attend the workshop on a fairly empty stomach. Give yourself ample digestion time after eating, at least 1.5-2 hours, and also eat something light.
- Please bring your own mat if you have one (if you haven’t got one, we arrange one for you). A small bottle of water, a towel, and something warm like a light shawl/blanket/sweater (to keep you warm during meditation, final relaxation).
